Support for Laurel County, KY Following Tornado Damage (5/30/2025)
The ASA remains committed to supporting the City of London and Laurel County, Kentucky, following the devastating tornado on May 16, 2025. We have visited the area to meet with city officials and continue to coordinate with local leaders on how we can contribute to the ongoing relief and rebuilding efforts.
How to Help
Right now, the most impactful way to assist is through donations. The Laurel County Chamber of Commerce has established an official hub with information on donating both financially and through physical goods (click the link below):

Options for ASA Participants Registered for London
For those who preregistered for the London event, there are several options available:
- If you’d like to roll your registration to a future ASA event, please notify the ASA office and indicate which event you’d like your registration applied to.
- Several members have requested to donate their registration fees to support the relief effort in London. We welcome this generosity and ask that anyone wishing to donate their fee contact the ASA office by July 9, 2025, so we can combine all contributions into a single donation to Laurel County.
- If you prefer, refunds are available by contacting the ASA office directly.
Looking Ahead
ASA is working with city officials to coordinate future opportunities for our members to assist in person. We are currently planning a work weekend in mid-August, with efforts focused on cleanup around the fairgrounds and other needed areas. More details will be announced soon.
