2023 Hoyt Easton Pro/Am in Foley, AL February 23-26
The 2023 Delta McKenzie ASA Pro/Am tour kicked off in spectacular fashion in Foley, AL, Feb. 23-26. The city of Foley showed incredible hospitality to the thousands of people who were looking forward to shooting their bows, connecting with friends, and enjoying all the benefits of the Gulf Coast in February.
The Hoyt/Easton Pro/Am launched the 3D season in record-breaking style. There were 2,031 registered shooters, setting a new attendance record for a Delta McKenzie ASA Pro/Am. In addition to record attendance, there was also $260,000 in payback and contingency money awarded to shooters across all classes.
The Hoyt/Easton Pro/Am’s Pro Pressure Point Shoot Down also set a new record for viewership. There were nearly 34,000 live viewers watching across The Sportsman Channel, YouTube, and Facebook. With the excitement of the weekend and the anticipation of the next stop, the content provided by Competition Archery Media continues to gather a record number of views and interactions. To date the video coverage of the Pro Pressure Point Shoot Down has had 172,700 views, while the entire event coverage has amassed 378,433 views.
The professional division also saw the successful launch of two new classes in Foley. In addition to Open Pro, Women’s Pro, Senior Pro, and Known Pro, the Delta McKenzie ASA Tour now offers Women’s Known Pro and Senior Known Pro. For their inaugural event, these classes had strong showings in both participation and excitement. We are excited for the future, since our pre-existing pro classes also saw strong participation and enthusiasm among the competitors.
The Delta McKenzie ASA Pro/Am Tour is ready for the next stop in Russell County, AL. We hope to see everyone there as we look forward to carrying the momentum from Foley through the rest of the 2023 season!
